Global company has an opportunity for an Employee Relations Specialist at its headquarters in KS. It will be your responsibility to align HR strategies & business goals; provide guidance to management with respect to employee relations issues; ensure proper application of company processes & policies; conduct exit interviews & review termination data to buoy employee retention strategies; investigate disciplinary actions & concerns, partner with training organization & give counsel to management to promote a unified, cohesive work environment; and support all HR activities & processes. Compensation for this position is 75-85K with excellent benefits & bonus package, plus full relocation assistance. Some travel is required.
We’re looking for a proactive knowledgeable individual who is able to foresee & take necessary actions to avert problems with minimal effort. Diplomacy in dealing with others, particularly during exit process, is a critical attribute you will need. Insight & sensitivity will allow you to flourish in this position.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree preferably in HR, business administration or related field/masters preferred
3-5+ years Employee Relations experience
5-7 years HR experience
Solid knowledge of employment law & compliance
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
