Exciting new opportunity has just opened up for an HR Manager with a strong generalist background in MI! You’ll support a large manufacturer in all areas of HR. You’ll manage a highly capable team of HR professionals to ensure that all aspects of HR are executed promptly and efficiently. You’ll act as a change agent, sharpening processes & redefining policies throughout all areas of the business. You’ll cultivate a cooperative relationship with a large labor organization and nurture a production environment of continual improvement. Compensation for this challenging position is 100-120K plus bonus.
We’re looking for an action oriented person with superior communication and negotiation skills who has experience working with automotive unions in a large manufacturing environment. Strong business acumen, the ability to build cohesive teams, as well as setting and meeting tough deadlines in a challenging work environment are vital to your success in this position.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree/Masters desirable
- 10 years HR experience in manufacturing environment.
- Union experience a must!!
- Proven change management experience a big plus
- Computer proficiency
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
