Extraordinary opportunity has just opened up for an HR Generalist with a Fortune 500 company at their NC facility. This is a hands-on position. You’ll have responsibilities for employee recruiting & retention, new hiring practices & orientation, training, compensation & benefits administration, communications & safety practices. You’ll work directly with management & staff to resolve conflicts, provide counsel regarding company policies & procedures, and promote a positive work environment. Compensation for this position is 55-70K plus bonus & generous benefits package with good opportunity for career growth. Relocation is available.
We are looking for a seasoned Generalist currently working in a manufacturing environment who interacts with staff & management directly. Key attributes: superior organizational skills, an ability to effectively prioritize work activities, and meet tough deadlines with minimal supervision. Safety experience will be a great asset.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, Master's preferred
- 4+ years experience primarily in a manufacturing environment
- Safety experience a plus
- Experience with lean manufacturing practices
- PHR/SPHR preferred, but not required
- Computer proficiency MS Office
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
