BurkeHR is actively seeking a Compensation Analyst to support a multi-facility health system in VA.  Your responsibilities will include: planning & implementation of the annual merit review process; evaluation of merit review salary recommendations to ensure equity & legal compliance; analysis of salary structure and appraisal of new hire compensation packages to attract & retain top talent, conducting job evaluations and developing position descriptions; development & improvement of quality HR policies & programs; and assisting in company-wide compensation programs to support business mission, goals and values.  Compensation for this position is 50-75K with full benefits.  No travel is required.

We’re looking for a dedicated self starter, committed to providing quality service to patients and all levels of staff & management.  If you possess creative problem solving skills, strong customer focus, and are able to promote teamwork throughout your work environment you will be successful in this position.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
  • Compensation experience-in healthcare desired
  • Detailed knowledge of federal & state wage laws, FLSA
  • Solid project management skills required
  • Familiarity & experience work HRIS systems
  • Computer proficiences-MS expertise a plus
